The winter motor sports show
The GSeries are born from the passion for motorsport that has always existed in Andorra. The beginnings date back to 1996, when the first ice races were held, very close to where our Circuit is located today. More than 25 years later, the competition has become the benchmark ice championship in southern Europe.
There are 4 categories participating in the event, which has an accumulated average participation of more than 250 drivers of various nationalities in the 4 races of each season.
The GIAND will be the entry point, followed by the Side by Sides, the Kartcross and the Rally3, which will complete this season’s categories.
Categories
The different categories of the Andbank GSERIES
SBS
Open category for Side by Side vehicles from brands like Can-Am, Polaris or Yamaha, prepared to compete in extreme ice conditions. The SBS category stands out for its competitiveness, accessibility and high level of driving, making it one of the most dynamic of the Andbank GSeries championship.
GIAND
Vehicles designed and developed exclusively to compete in the Andbank GSeries by the Spanish tuner PCR Sport. These 4×4 prototypes, with tubular chassis and 1300 cc motorcycle engine, are optimized to run on the ice of the Andorra Circuit.
KARTCROSS
The main new feature this year is that we are opening the category to all Kartcross manufacturers, with vehicles equipped with 600 cc engines.
Additionally, the championship will feature two separate classifications: a General Category and a Junior Category, each with its own podium.
RALLY3
The big news this season is the introduction of the Rally3 category, making its debut for the first time in the GSeries.
We are very happy to make this new discipline a reality, which will be open to both Renault and Ford — the same vehicles used in the Junior World Rally Championship (WRC).
